Saturday, December 13, 2025 the sun was out and temperatures reached the mid seventies making it a picture perfect day for the 35th running of Louisiana Champions Day at New Orleans Fair Grounds. The race card was restricted to accredited Louisiana bred thoroughbreds featuring the best Louisiana bred athletes competing for seven stakes worth $900,000 in stakes purses.
