(Opelousa, La) -REAP is honored that the Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders Association has once again graciously invited us to hold our Annual Benefit in conjunction with their Horse of the Year and Champions Ceremony.

Last year’s fundraiser, held alongside the LTBA Awards, was a tremendous success, and we are excited to build on that momentum with another enjoyable and meaningful event this year. We are also pleased to welcome Coteau Grove Projectas part of this year’s entertainment. A special thank you to Keith and Ginger Myers for their generous support.

The mission of REAP (Racing Employees Assistance Program) is to provide assistance to licensed members of the Evangeline Downs racing community and their families. This support may include financial aid for medical care, food, housing, clothing, and education, as well as services such as counseling, caregiving, emergency transportation, recreational activities, job placement, and training. REAPis also proud to support the valuable ministry of our Chaplain, Dwight Brown.

We invite you to join us again this year in supporting those within our industry who need our help. We also ask for your assistance in spreading the word about REAPand its important work. REAP Day at the Races will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Mojo’s at Evangeline Downs.

The event will feature a Silent Auction and Reverse Drawing. If you are able to donate a Silent Auction item or would like to purchase a Reverse Drawing ticket, please let us know. We are looking forward to another outstanding event that will directly benefit members of our racing community.
