GMB Racing Announces Arrival of Elite Stallion Tom’s d’Etat at Adcock’s Red River Farm
(New Orleans, La.) - GMB Racing is proud to announce that top racehorse Tom’s d’Etat has joined the stallion roster at Adcock’s Red River Farm, bringing a powerful new opportunity to Louisiana breeders. Retiring sound after an impressive five‑season career, Tom’s d’Etat recorded 11 wins from 20 starts and earned $1,762,000 on the track.
A standout competitor, Tom’s d’Etat secured major victories including the G1 Clark Stakes, G2 Stephen Foster Stakes at Churchill Downs, the G2 Hagyard Stakes at Keeneland, The Oaklawn Mile, and The Tenacious Stakes at the Fair Grounds in New Orleans. He also delivered exceptional speed and consistency, registering 10 triple‑digit Beyer Speed Figures, including nine consecutively.
Beyond his race record, Tom’s d’Etat brings a world‑class pedigree. He is sired by Smart Strike, regarded as Mr. Prospector’s best son, and is out of the Giant’s Causeway mare Julia Tuttle, hailing from the direct female family of leading sire Candy Ride.
In 2025, Tom’s d’Etat ranked 13th among second‑crop sires in North America, producing 10 stakes horses and achieving a stakes‑horses‑to‑starters percentage of over 12%—the highest of any stallion standing in Louisiana. More than 50% of his 2025 starters were winners, and his progeny continue to show the same improvement with age that defined his own career.
“We are thrilled to stand Tom’s d’Etat at Red River Farm,” said the GMB Racing team. “Adcock’s has a tremendous track record with stallions such as El Deal, Aurelius Maximus, and especially Coal Front, whom they also relocated from Kentucky. We will continue supporting Tom’s d’Etat with mares from our own broodmare band and are excited to help deliver a major opportunity for Louisiana breeders.”
Tom’s d’Etat now joins Mo Tom and Lone Sailor at Adcock’s Red River Farm, strengthening an already successful stallion lineup and expanding options for breeders seeking elite performance and pedigree.
